Schedule of Events

Our 2012 tournament schedule, once again, visits the best golf courses in South Alabama. We have ten thirty six hole events and one eighteen hole event, starting at Timber Creek CC and finishing at Magnolia Grove's Falls Course. Our schedule of events calendar below will also feature tournament tee times and results, all posted in a very timely manner. Just click the appropriate links.  

Tournament entries should be directed to host club one week prior to the event by phone or by calling the Tour Office. Players may enter tournaments at the previous event. Deadline for tournament entry is 12:00 p.m. Thursday or 12:00 p.m. Wednesday for Friday – Saturday events.

We have added the convenience of online tournament registration. There is a small $3 charge added to your tournament fee to cover processing fees, but it is worth the convenience. All you have to do is enter the desired tournament in the space provided and click the PayPal Buy Now button. You will safely pay with a credit/debit card or your PayPal account. That is all it takes.  

Members of the Lite Scratch Tour are eligible to compete for points and prizes in tournaments. Point standings at the end of the year determine the Lite Scratch Tour Player of the Year and the Lite Challenge Cup match team members are drawn from the year end points list.  Top 12 point Leaders from the Regular division will determine the 2012 Lite Cup Team. Top 12 point Leaders from the Senior Division will determine the 2012 Challenge Cup Team. If for any reason a team member cannot play in the Challenge Cup, the Captain will pick the replacements from anyone on the Tour that meets the required criteria.             

Membership on the Lite Scratch Tour is a privilege.  The Board of Directors of the Lite Scratch Tour reserves the right to suspend or revoke membership and playing privileges to anyone as a result of conduct deemed by the Board of Directors to be detrimental to the Lite Scratch Tour or the Game of Golf. Players may not wear blue jeans and shirts must have collars. In 2012 slow play will not be tolerated
